How to Join

  1. Visit a Monday pool session (Galleon Centre, 8–10pm, Oct–Apr) to chat with our Branch Diving Officer or instructors and arrange a try dive.
  2. Join ScotSAC online and select KSAC as your branch (medical self-declaration is required before membership starts). (https://www.scotsac.com/about/how-join)
  3. Complete your KSAC membership and start diving—training for trainees or immediate club dives for already-qualified divers.

1 – Visit a Pool Session

The first step is to Contact Us and we can arrange a Try a Dive for you or if you are a qualified diver, we can chat about the process and what the club can offer.

We will get you to come along on a pool session or arrange to meet up and chat with you about the club. If you want to continue, then we will follow the next steps. But of course, there is no obligation.

2 – ScotSAC Membership Fees

ScotSAC Annual Subscription (from January 2024):

  • Ordinary: £60
  • Joint (pair): £93
  • Junior SCUBA (11–17): £41
  • Student: £46
  • Associate (non-diving): £38
  • Family (up to 2 adults + 2 children ≤18): £112

Note: First-time ScotSAC members also purchase a £20 qualification logbook per new member.

3 – Kilmarnock Sub Aqua Club Memberships

Trainee Membership

We require the first two years membership to to paid up front

(no membership fees taken on year 2)

£90 one off fee + individual membersnip

Individual Membership

For divers who already hold a diving qualification.

Crossover Training will be provided

£12.50 per month

Family Membership

This cost covers individual membership for all family members in one household

£10 per person per month
